The Centre for Social Accountability (CSA) is an independent institute affiliated to Rhodes University and based in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa.
Its vision is the institutionalisation of the right to social accountability and the realisation of social and economic rights through the effective management of public resources.
It seeks to achieve this vision in the Southern African region by generating, disseminating and sharing knowledge about the right to social accountability and the tools necessary to give effect to this right.
